Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team at the Mountain View Shopping Centre. The successful candidate will help maintain our high standards of customer service and keep the store running smoothly.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or an equivalent qualification.
• At least six months of experience in a retail environment (Essential).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful service to every customer.
• Assist customers with product information and help them find what they need.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Pack shelves, price merchandise, and ensure products are well-presented.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish shelves as needed.
• Follow all store policies, safety rules, and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Assist with general store duties and other tasks as required.
