About the Role

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport is seeking a dedicated Administrative Clerk to join our Traffic and Transport Specialized Investigation unit. Our mission is to provide a road transportation system that is safe, regulated, affordable, and accessible to the public. We are looking for a professional individual to support our core functions in maintaining a high-quality provincial road network.

Minimum Requirements

• A Senior Certificate (Matric) or a National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4.
• A valid Code 08 (Class B) driver’s license.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Administration: Sound knowledge of filing systems and record management.
• Legislation: A basic understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with others.
• Problem Solving: An innovative thinker who can work independently and take accountability for their tasks.
