About the Department

The mission of the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport is to provide a road transportation system that is safe, integrated, regulated, affordable, and accessible. The Department focuses on constructing and maintaining a balanced provincial road network to improve mobility across the region.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Senior Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in administrative roles.
• A valid Code B driver’s license.

Knowledge and Competencies

Successful candidates should possess knowledge in the following areas:

• The Constitution of South Africa and the Public Service Act.
• Public Service Regulations and the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
• Supply Chain Management practices and procedures.
• Employee Performance and Management Systems (EPMDS).
• Legislation regarding the Promotion of Access to Information and Administrative Justice.
• Project management and implementation processes.
