About the Role: Support the vision and strategy of a Business Unit by developing and implementing innovative business processes and models. Identify process improvement opportunities that align with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements, and ensure business benefits are realized through measurable success.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years in processing systems, processes, procedures, and support within a similar environment. Proven experience in data analytics, business model design, business process development or improvement, and operationalising new solutions.
Ideal Experience: 3+ years in processing systems, processes, procedures, and support in a similar environment. Experience in strategic business case development. Ability to translate divisional strategies and regulatory requirements into a target operating model. Management or leadership experience.
Qualifications (Minimum): Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational. Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering – General.
Qualifications (Preferred): Post‑graduate qualification in Engineering – General or Information Technology.
Knowledge: Lean working principles, business change lifecycle, change management, system development lifecycle, project management lifecycle, agile practices, quality management, risk and issue management, BABOK, SOA, TOGAF, ARCHIMATE, business case development, client experience/journey mapping, process frameworks (strategy, planning, HR, finance, marketing, sales, assets, procurement, production), process simulation modelling, financial modelling.
Ideal Knowledge: Banking processes and procedures, banking systems (e.g., SBL, Horizon, STrack, Postilion), in‑depth knowledge of Capitec products, data and trend analysis.
Skills: Communication, analytical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship management, facilitation, negotiation.
Conditions of Employment: Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required. Must be contactable via a personal mobile phone. Fingerprints must be detectable on Capitec’s internal electronic banking system. Must have a clear criminal and credit record.
