Key Responsibilities

As a Butchery General Assistant, your daily tasks will include:

• Greeting customers warmly and answering any questions they have about our products.
• Helping customers choose the right items and explaining how to use them.
• Keeping customers informed about current sales and special promotions.
• Resolving customer concerns quickly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Receiving deliveries, organizing the storeroom, and keeping track of stock levels.
• Packing products neatly on shelves to ensure they are always available for customers.
• Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory management.
• Cleaning designated areas, including the kitchen and storerooms, to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Disposing of waste and rubbish in the correct bins.
• Following all safety, security, and emergency procedures to keep yourself and others safe.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Previous experience as a General Assistant.
• Reside within 25km of the place of work.
• A clear criminal record.
