About the role
We are looking for energetic, self‑motivated people who share our passion for service in banking. The role provides executive level support, helps shape business strategy, drives innovation, improves processes and identifies partnership opportunities. You will work like an internal consultant for the bank’s executive team. Typical projects include designing incentive schemes for Business Bank sales staff, writing strategy documents, building financial models, conducting due‑diligence audits, performing company valuations, and attending executive meetings.
Key responsibilities
- Provide executive level support to senior leaders
- Analyse business efficiency and design solutions to improve performance
- Research and develop strategic partnership opportunities
- Assist with strategy interpretation, design and implementation
- Build financial models and perform valuations
- Prepare business cases and concepts
- Engage with executive stakeholders
- Attend and minute executive meetings
Qualifications (minimum)
- Honours degree in Commerce or Business Management
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least two years of post‑article experience (articles completed at a Big 4 audit firm, bank or large listed organization)
- 3‑5 years relevant experience, including at least two years at a management consulting firm
Ideal qualifications
- In‑depth knowledge of the banking sector and future banking trends
- Advanced financial modelling skills
Skills
- Strong analytical and research abilities
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with data and analytics
