Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa

The role is to drive data‑informed decision‑making across the organisation. You will work with large and complex data sets to uncover insights that support strategic priorities. The position is hands‑on and technical, and you will own projects from concept through to delivery.
Education (minimum)
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Statistics.
Experience (minimum)
At least four years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or equivalent (e.g., data analyst). This should include work with data analytics, BI methods and tools, data warehousing and the data life cycle.
You should have experience in identifying, quantifying and delivering value by solving business challenges with data.
Experience in stakeholder engagement is required.
Experience working with data on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Experience building data visualisations using Power BI.
Ability to use SQL to prepare and analyse data.
Knowledge
Basic experience with low/no‑code AutoML on tools such as Power BI or AWS SageMaker.
Understanding of design thinking.
Knowledge of dimensional modelling.
Familiarity with the Data Product Life Cycle (DPLC).
Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practices.
Understanding of data quality and incident management.
Experience with agile project management methodology.
Ideal experience
Previous work in business analysis within the banking sector.
Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
