Purpose: Build value for the product line by solving client and business challenges using data. Use data and analytical skills to create insights that help senior decision makers make better, faster decisions.
Education (minimum): A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Statistics.
Experience (minimum): At least 4 years as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role (such as data analyst). Must have experience in data analytics, BI methods and tools, data warehousing and the data life cycle. Must have experience in identifying, quantifying and delivering value by solving business challenges with data. Must have experience engaging with stakeholders. Must have worked with data on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. Must have built data visualisations using Power BI. Must have used SQL to prepare and analyse data.
Knowledge: Experience with low/no‑code AutoML on tools such as Power BI or AWS SageMaker. Understanding of design thinking, dimensional modelling, the Data Product Life Cycle (DPLC). Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practices. Understanding of data quality and incident management. Experience with agile project management methodology.
Ideal experience: Prior work in business analysis within the banking sector. Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
