Purpose: To optimise credit intelligence performance and minimise credit risk by delivering analytical insights that support business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Independently conduct complex quantitative data analysis and provide output that informs decision‑making.
• Propose and execute solutions based on analytical findings.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop new statistical models for credit decisions.

Experience required:

• Minimum 2‑4 years in retail credit analysis, including SQL programming, diagnostic analytics, statistical modelling, and data visualisation.
• If you hold an Honours degree, 1‑3 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Ideal candidates have portfolio‑specific experience and any experience with Capitec Bank.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Statistics.
• Preferred: Relevant postgraduate qualification in Finance or Statistics.

Skills:

• Communication, presentation, and reporting abilities.
