Purpose:
Manage the Business Centre to create a proactive sales and service culture. Retain and grow the client base. Plan and implement marketing, sales and support strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive activity, planning and implementation of marketing, sales and support services.
- Manage a profitable cost centre.
- Lead a team to meet business goals.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years banking experience, with at least 3 years in Business Banking.
- 3 years of managerial experience.
- Experience preparing and motivating credit applications.
- Budgeting, forecasting, cost control and sales management.
- Ability to manage a profitable cost centre.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Finance.
Knowledge Required:
- Business acumen and understanding of industry, financial and credit risks.
- People management and financial modelling skills.
- Understanding of business economics, taxation and sector trends.
- Knowledge of competitor products, credit principles, FAIS and FICA.
- Ability to use CRM and apply information.
- Understanding of Business Banking operations and associated risks.
Ideal Knowledge:
- Product features, benefits and pricing structures.
- Administration processes for Business Banking.
- Current taxation laws.
Skills:
- Communication, analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Planning, organising and coordination abilities.
Conditions of Employment:

- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required.
