Purpose Statement
To manage legal processes and ensure the optimal recovery of collateral across all Business Bank products. The role aims to maximise recoveries and impairment releases while minimising recovery costs and impairment raises. It also involves managing people, portfolios and processes to reduce the non‑performing loan ratio in line with industry standards.
Minimum Experience
- At least 3 years of post‑admission experience in civil and commercial litigation
- 4 years of banking experience, including 2 years in a managerial role and 2 years in Collections/Recoveries
Ideal Experience
- Management experience within Capitec Bank
- Experience in the same or a similar industry
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Architectural Technology
Qualifications (Ideal)
- Post‑graduate qualification in Commerce, Economic or Management Sciences
