Purpose: The Product Head is accountable for product ownership, translating strategic direction into world‑class products through effective team leadership. The Product Head – BB Secured Credit will oversee the strategic leadership, product development, delivery, and lifecycle management of Business Bank’s Secured Credit portfolio, including VAF, Property, Specialised loans, loan management workflow, and collateral capability.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute product strategy that aligns with business objectives.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, delivery).
• Manage the full product lifecycle for secured credit products.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and credit‑risk standards.
• Drive digital transformation and automation in lending processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape product offerings.

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ideal: Honours Degree.

Knowledge and experience:

• Strong understanding of secured lending markets, regulatory frameworks, and customer segments in Business and Commercial Banking.
• Familiarity with credit risk, collateral processes, and product lifecycle management.
• 8–12 years in secured lending product management, preferably in retail or business banking.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering large‑scale lending products or platforms.
• Experience in product strategy, development, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to manage credit risk appetite, pricing models, and product profitability.
• Experience driving digital transformation and automation in lending journeys.
• Exposure to vendor management, budgeting, and financial reporting for product delivery.
