Purpose:
Manage the Capitec Direct department to grow market share and profitability for online sales. Support the omni‑channel sales strategy and develop resources, systems, policies, practices, methods and measures that drive the sales strategy.
Key Requirements:
- More than 5 years of management experience in online or direct sales, preferably in an omni‑channel environment.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced, dynamic, results‑driven setting with frequent changes.
- Experience in banking, retail, e‑commerce or consumer goods.
- Financial services management experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Finance.
Knowledge needed:
- Working with cross‑functional teams to improve the end‑to‑end client experience in sales.
- Sales analytics tools, CRM systems and related technologies.
- Using data, technology and client insights to drive growth and improve client experience.
- Understanding commercial and business drivers in financial services/retail.
- People management and development practices.
- Sales and contact‑centre knowledge.
- Client experience principles and practices.
- Operational data analytics and digitisation of data.
- How omni‑channel sales and services operate.
