Role Overview Join Capitec Business Banking in the Enablement team as a Configuration Analyst. You will configure and develop solutions on the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include building and maintaining complex Salesforce configurations, working with Apex, APIs, and integrations, collaborating with architects and developers, creating Lightning components (LWC) when needed, ensuring quality and performance, participating in the full software development lifecycle, and reviewing test plans.
Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain complex Salesforce configurations - Develop and maintain Apex code and APIs - Collaborate on integration‑heavy projects - Create Lightning Web Components (LWC) as required - Ensure applications meet quality and performance standards - Participate in testing, deployment, and the full software development lifecycle - Review test plans and validate results against requirements
Ideal Candidate - 4+ years of relevant Salesforce development experience - Proficient in both front‑end (LWC) and back‑end (Apex) development - Holds Salesforce Administrator Certification - Salesforce Developer I certification (Developer II and JavaScript Developer are a plus) - Strong knowledge of Apex and hands‑on experience - Experience working with APIs and Salesforce integrations - Experience in other coding environments is beneficial but not required
Preferred Qualification - Degree or diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
Skills - Attention to detail - Commercial thinking - Communication and interpersonal skills - Problem‑solving ability - Ability to manage relationships and work in a team
