An exciting opportunity has become available for a commercially driven Channel Manager to join a leading organisation operating within the financial services sector. We are seeking a high-performing sales professional with a proven track record of building strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and managing key stakeholder relationships within a business-to-business environment.This role is ideal for an individual who thrives on developing new business opportunities, strengthening partner networks, and delivering innovative finance solutions that create value for customers and suppliers alike.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and achieve ambitious sales and revenue targets.
  • Build, develop, and manage strategic channel partnerships and supplier relationships.
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new suppliers and business partners.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development activities.
  • Manage existing accounts, ensuring customer retention, growth, and long-term profitability.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers including CFOs, CEOs, CIOs, Procurement Executives, and Business Owners.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and structure tailored finance solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell complementary financial products and services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer and partner experiences.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Channel Management, Business Development, Partner Management, or Sales role.
  • Strong experience within the Financial Services sector is essential.
  • Demonstrated success selling asset finance, rental finance, leasing, commercial finance, banking, fintech, or related financial solutions.
  • Experience working with SME, Corporate, and/or Public Sector clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure financial solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Established professional network and relationship-building capability.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently while delivering against aggressive growth targets.
