Job Overview

• Position: Cleaner (Re-advertisement)
• Location: Mopani District, Limpopo
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Field: Janitorial Services

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and professional environment. Primary duties include:

• Cleaning offices, storerooms, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
• Dusting furniture, removing waste, and providing water during meetings.
• Cleaning windows, walls, and kitchen utensils.
• Scrubbing toilets and polishing office floors.
• Operating vacuum cleaners and other cleaning machinery.
• Refilling water coolers and ensuring restrooms are stocked with supplies.
• Maintaining and safely storing cleaning materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is an added advantage.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Basic Literacy: Ability to read and write.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning products, materials, and machinery.
• Interpersonal Skills: Good communication skills and a commitment to the Batho Pele Principles.
• Work Ethic: Ability to perform manual labor, work well in a team, and handle pressure.
• Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and committed to high-quality service.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety measures and workplace procedures.
