Job Overview

The Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism is seeking a highly skilled professional for the position of Director of Communication. Requirements

• Education: A recognized NQF Level 7 tertiary qualification (Bachelor's Degree) in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in government communication at a middle or senior management level.
• Knowledge: A strong understanding of the media landscape, departmental mandates, applicable acts, and regulations.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work under pressure, work irregular hours (including weekends and holidays), and travel extensively.
