Role Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to transport crew members and custodians for the safe collection and delivery of client funds. You will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are properly documented and that safety protocols are strictly followed.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record.
• Certification: PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C.
• Specialized Training: Valid Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate.
• Firearm Competency: Valid handgun competency for business purposes.
• Licensing: Valid Code C1 driver’s license (minimum) and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the security industry or a similar logistics role.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of working under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport crew and manage the delivery and collection of client money.
• Report any operational delays to the Operations Manager immediately.
• Focus on incident prevention and report any suspicious activity.
• Maintain consistent radio communication with the control room.
• Perform regular vehicle audits and complete daily safety checklists.
• Drive responsibly and accurately document any vehicle-related incidents.
