Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join a company based in East London

Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the full accounting function, including oversight of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Maintain the general ledger, including reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including VAT, tax, and related submissions.
- Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc projects.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide supporting schedules and documentation during audit processes.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial records.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial controls and processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Completed articles at a recognised accounting firm (essential).
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
