What You Will Do

As a General Assistant, you will handle various tasks to ensure our Fruitstop runs smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing food supplies and equipment to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Receiving and carefully storing new stock.
• Storing food properly to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Reporting to the manager when supplies are low or if equipment needs repair.
• Checking that all prepared food meets our quality standards.
• Following all daily closing procedures accurately.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment regularly.
• Supporting the team by working efficiently across different roles.
• Preparing fruit salads, smoothies, and other products using Fruitstop equipment.
• Cutting and preparing fruit according to company recipes.
• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A valid Matric certificate.
• Previous experience as a Counterhand or General Assistant.
• Must live within 20km of the workplace.
• A clear criminal record.

Preferences

The following attributes are a plus but not strictly required:

• Experience as a General Worker.
• Candidates between the ages of 25 and 40.
