Desired experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Operations Management role within the fuel industry
- Strong understanding of forecourt operations, fuel reconciliation, and stock control
- Excellent Excel skills with experience in reporting, analysis, scheduling, and tracking performance
- Experience managing high-volume cash operations and fuel systems (PDI / Dover Fueling Solutions experience advantageous)
- Strong leadership ability with a hands-on, team-focused approach
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence
- Must be flexible to work shifts and be available to work weekends
- Must be willing to relocate to Colesberg (spouse and children must be willing to relocate to Colesberg after 4 months)
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and manage daily forecourt and retail operations
- Drive operational efficiency and maintain high performance standards
- Identify, analyse, and reduce shortages through effective stock control, loss prevention, and wet stock management
- Ensure accurate reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking using Excel
- Lead, coach, and develop staff through ongoing training and performance management
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards across all customer-facing areas
- Manage cash control processes and back-office administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Implement and maintain strong Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) standards
