Role Summary

As a General Assistant, your primary goal is to provide excellent customer service and help the store achieve its sales targets. You will be responsible for maintaining merchandise presentation, assisting customers, and ensuring the store remains organized and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service to drive sales and meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Ensure effective merchandise replenishment and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Implement store and department layouts correctly.
• Protect company assets, including stock, cash, and physical property, by following all company policies.
• Handle administrative procedures related to stock room management, mark-downs, and lay-bys.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
• Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills.
• Attributes: A high level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience: Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is an advantage.

• Ability to plan and organize daily tasks effectively.
