Role Summary

Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, the General Worker Loader is responsible for loading and offloading bread on-site. This is a 6-day-per-week position suitable for someone who is reliable and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and offload bread according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Follow the correct pipeline sequences for loading and offloading.
• Perform tray counts and ensure stock is balanced within the trucks.
• Attend daily team meetings (invocoms).
• Ensure only high-quality products are loaded for distribution.
• Manage stock rotation using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method.
• Report any issues regarding loading or offloading to supervisors.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) with good numerical skills.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
• A Code 10 driver’s license is not required but will be an advantage.

Working Conditions

• This position requires working 6 days a week.
