Job Summary

Responsible for the profitable management of the Reinet Grain Depot in Heilbron, Free State.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
• Successful completion of the New Manager's Program (or equivalent).
• Proven industry management experience of 3-5 years.
• Completion of all relevant grain grading and silo operating courses.
• Ability to consistently add value by achieving organizational, operational, and strategic goals.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor grain flow continuously.
• Ensure grain protection through fumigation.
• Monitor grain tube temperature and report any deviations to superiors.
• Measure grain tubes according to policy and safety regulations.
• Handle input trade duties.
• Operate silos according to VKB Group policy and regulations.
• Manage inventory effectively.
• Handle financial and administrative management.
• Manage infrastructure.
• Perform general management duties.
• Provide customer service.
