We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our team as an HCM Administrator at our Animal Production campus in Irene.

Job Overview

As an HCM Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Human Capital Management department. This role involves managing recruitment processes, assisting with payroll inputs, and maintaining high-quality personnel records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support: Assist managers with recruitment and selection procedures, including compiling candidate lists, preparing interview packs, and drafting correspondence.
  • Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new employees and students associated with the DALRRD project.
  • Payroll & Records: Support the Payroll Administrator with data input and maintain organized, confidential personnel files.
  • HR Administration: Ensure all HR activities follow relevant laws and internal policies. Manage training applications and general administrative tasks.
  • General Support: Provide relief support for the switchboard or reception desk when necessary and handle multiple tasks to support the wider HCM team.

Requirements

  • Education: A National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a Human Resources environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of the VIP system is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: High level of integrity and confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Other: A valid driver’s license is considered an advantage.
