Solutions Consultant -Retail ERP
We are seeking a dynamic Solutions Consultant from the retail industry to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This role offers a hybrid work model within Gauteng, with full remote opportunities available for other locations.
**Ideal Candidate Background:**
We welcome applications from two distinct professional backgrounds:
1. **Retail Industry Professionals:** Individuals with strong retail industry knowledge, systems acumen, and a passion for driving digital transformation.
2. **ERP Consultants:** Experienced professionals with expertise in platforms such as Kerridge, Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar, who also possess strong retail industry knowledge.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Deliver full-cycle ERP implementations and ongoing support, with a specific focus on D365 Business Central and LS Central.
* Translate complex retail operational needs and processes into effective system solutions.
* Actively participate in all stages of solution design, workshops, data migration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system go-lives, and post-implementation support.
**Essential Requirements:**
* Demonstrated strong understanding of core retail operations, including store processes, Point of Sale (POS), inventory management, merchandising, and supply chain.
* Proven experience working with ERP systems (experience with LS Central is a plus, but not mandatory).
* **Experience Level:**
* Intermediate: 3 - 5 years
* Senior: 5 years +
* A proactive "can-do" attitude and a proven capacity for continuous learning.
* High levels of energy, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
