Insurance Broker

Our Client is seeking an Insurance Broker to join their team in East London

• Requirements:NQF Level 4 Full Qualification Required – Any NQF higher is also benefited
• Matric Certificate 
• Class of Business Training – Both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines
• RE 5 Examination
• Signed off and completed Supervision for Personal and Commercial Lines
• Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in Commercial field – Must be able to underwrite and sell  
• Driver’s Licence and own Vehicle 
• Risk Identification: Identifying the level of risk and recognising the potential threats to a business.

Underwriting Capabilities:

• Ability to understand the client’s risk and underwrite a policy with all the necessary sections and cover required.
• Activating a policy and making relevant amendments on systems.
• Good comprehension of the Insurer Guidelines and the importance of underwriting limits.
• Good understanding of the insurer rates and risk profiling.
• Reviewing the insurance policy annually and discussing all aspects of recommendations, as well as highlighting policy conditions (Renewals)
