The South African Police Service (SAPS) is a community-focused organization dedicated to protecting the fundamental rights of all people in South Africa. We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our Internal Audit department as interns for the 2025/2026 period.

Role Overview

As an Internal Audit Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting the audit team in ensuring organizational compliance and effectiveness. This is a graduate-level position designed to provide practical workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting internal audits and risk assessments.
• Help prepare detailed audit reports.
• Contribute to the development of audit programs.
• Support the execution of audit tasks to ensure all internal controls are followed.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A National Diploma or Degree in Internal Audit, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (NQF level 6 or higher).
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be able to work in Pretoria, Gauteng.
