Role Overview

The SAPS is looking for qualified graduates to join the Internal Audit department as interns. This role is designed to provide practical experience in finance, accounting, and auditing within a public service environment.

Requirements

• A National Diploma or Degree in Internal Audit, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (NQF level 6 or higher).
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must have no previous criminal record.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with internal auditing processes and risk assessments.
• Help prepare official audit reports.
• Support the development of audit programmes.
• Assist in checking for compliance and operational effectiveness.
