Key Responsibilities

Your primary role will be to ensure that frozen meal orders are packed accurately and safely while maintaining strict quality standards. Your daily tasks will include:

• Packing frozen meal orders in cold and frozen storage areas based on specific packing sheets.
• Maintaining the "cold-chain" to ensure food remains frozen and safe.
• Assembling transport boxes and fitting styrofoam inserts correctly.
• Checking that all packaging is clean, undamaged, and suitable for delivery.
• Labeling products according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Attaching correct waybills and double-checking destination details for every order.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and "First Expiry, First Out" (FEFO) principles.
• Assisting with stock rotation and regular stock takes.
• Keeping the workstation clean and organized, including general housekeeping tasks.

Requirements

• Matric certificate (Grade 12).
• Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, or food production environment is an advantage.
• Physically able to lift and move boxes within safe limits.
• Comfortable working inside chilled and freezer rooms for extended periods.
• A hardworking attitude and the ability to assist the team during busy peak times.
