Maintenance Admin Assistant Jobs

Pepkor Speciality is looking for a motivated Maintenance Admin Assistant to join our Operations Maintenance Support team on a 2-month fixed-term contract. Based at the Tekkie Town Support Centre in George, you will play a key role in supporting our stores with their general maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
• Valid Code EB driver’s license (Compulsory).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within retail.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Basic knowledge of power systems like generators and inverters.
• Proficiency in computer use and basic numeracy.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate approvals for shop repairs and maintenance requests.
• Manage and schedule contractors for store repairs and future projects.
• Arrange specialist services, such as window replacements and pest control for stores and warehouses.
• Handle maintenance support calls, emails, filing, and administrative tasks.
• Process financial documents including quotes, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Assist with the dispatch of essential items like lighting, speakers, and cleaning equipment.
• Manage signage issues and update weekly reports.
• Assign correct pay point codes for order processing and payments.
• Be available for weekend standby duties according to the scheduled roster.
