The Central Karoo District Municipality, based in Beaufort West, serves the local municipalities of Laingsburg, Prince Albert, and Beaufort West. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our Human Resources division.

Role Overview

As the Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the HR department. Your primary focus will be designing and implementing policies, systems, and controls that support the municipality's service delivery goals. You will provide expert advice on HR development and ensure all human resources interventions align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Human Resources division.
• Develop and align HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Provide strategic guidance on human resources initiatives and interventions.
• Oversee performance areas and outcomes within the HR department.
• Support organizational growth through effective HR development strategies.

Requirements

• Education: A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of broad experience in human resources functions.
• Leadership: At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
• License: A valid Code B driver’s license.
