Lead – Marketing Portfolio

Purpose: Partner with Product Heads to assess business needs and provide tailored marketing solutions. Advise and direct the creation of marketing programmes that align with the business’s strategic direction. Oversee the full marketing value chain – from consulting with the business through planning, development, execution, and reporting. Ensure thorough reporting and measurement of marketing initiatives to track success and drive continuous improvement.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience in a large, complex, client‑focused organisation.
• Ideal experience in FMCG, retail banking, or services.
• Cross‑functional project coordination or management.
• Lead and manage marketing programmes that support business and marketing objectives.
• Proficiency in multi‑channel marketing, including direct marketing, digital performance marketing, social media, above‑the‑line advertising, traditional media, and content marketing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management.
• Ideal: Post‑graduate degree in Marketing or Business Management.

• Principles of brand marketing.
• Data analysis, client profiling and segmentation.
• Digital marketing and e‑commerce.
• Strategic marketing management.
• Campaign management.
• General business/commerce knowledge.
• Internal and external communication methods and practices.

• Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
