Mechanical Design Engineer required to be involved in the design of international parts and complete Product designs. Durbanville, Cape Town. Minimum 3 years of design experience. Mechanical Design Engineer

International Development company, specialising in developing commercial products and systems. Complete designs from first principles, as well as improvements on existing Product ranges.

Qualifications and key skills required:

• BTech/ B Eng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in designing
• Design skills on Solid Works 
• Ideal have some skills in Siemens NX

• Preparation of ideas in the form of CAD models and presentations
• Preparation of manufacturing and supplier part drawings to be released into the system for manufacturing and purchasing
• Preparation and administration of prototype parts and test requests for proposed design fixes and new options
• Improve design and development for new products and do design  changes for upgrades
