About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Mobilisation Officer to join our Operations team in KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the seamless mobilisation and implementation of new security and cleaning contracts, ensuring that all operational, staffing, compliance, and client requirements are met prior to contract commencement.

This role serves as a critical link between multiple stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring that new client sites are fully operational, compliant, and ready for handover to the Key Accounts Manager.

What You Will Bring

Inherent Requirements for the Position (Non-Negotiable)

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the security, cleaning, or facilities management industry.

Additional Demonstrable Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Operations Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of operational systems such as Profit, Velocity, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Sound understanding of security and cleaning industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong project planning and coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Client-focused service orientation.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Coordinate the end-to-end mobilisation of new contracts.
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to determine operational requirements.
  • Develop mobilisation plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations and client requirements are met before contract commencement.
  • Facilitate client onboarding and site setup on operational systems.
  • Ensure accurate cost centre and reporting configurations.
  • Implement communication, access control, clocking, and geofencing systems.
  • Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, and placement of site personnel.
  • Ensure all required training, inductions, and compliance checks are completed.
  • Liaise with Human Resources regarding contracts, medical examinations, criminal checks, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of equipment, uniforms, and operational supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and supplier relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular mobilisation updates and proactively resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are implemented and monitored.
  • Track mobilisation progress and provide detailed status reports.
  • Conduct formal handovers to the Key Accounts Manager once sites are fully operational.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.
