Operations and Maintenance Clerk
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word and Email)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project planning and project management
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance and repairs administration
- Minimum of 1 year’s procurement experience
- Basic finance knowledge
- Contractor and supplier management experience
- Client relationship management experience
- Knowledge of payment certificates will be advantageous
- Strong business acumen

- Provide daily administrative support and communication to Exco and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate helpdesk activities, work orders, and maintenance escalations to completion.
- Manage procurement processes, supplier relations, stock control, and invoice submissions.
- Coordinate import, export, and logistics activities, including documentation and delivery tracking
- Support payroll administration, leave approvals, and employee timekeeping for South African and Zimbabwean staff.
- Manage contractors and oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to completion.
- Prepare monthly billing packs, financial information, and management reports.
- Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and support continuous operational improvements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure effective service delivery.
- Conduct monthly travel to Zimbabwe for site meetings and inspections and ensure implementation of agreed actions.
