Role and Responsibilities

As an intern in the Psychology and Trauma department, you will perform the following core functions:

  • Facilitate psychological assessments and mental health programs.
  • Provide counseling services to SAPS members and their families.
  • Support the implementation of various employee wellness programs.

Requirements

To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet these educational and professional standards:

  • Hold an Honours degree or B Psych degree in Psychology.
  • Be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a psychometrist or registered counsellor for the 2025/2026 financial year.
