PT45 Sales Assistant - The Workshop 561 Jobs

Pepkor is the largest retail store footprint in Southern Africa, with thousands of stores across 10 African countries. Our Speciality division provides the infrastructure to launch and grow fashion and footwear brands. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at The Workshop 561.

Role Overview

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and helping the store achieve its sales targets. You will work closely with management to assist with daily operations, ensuring the store remains organized and welcoming for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work toward achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Deliver superior customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Help with merchandise presentation and the replenishment of stock.
• Implement company policies and procedures effectively.
• Assist with store and department layout to maximize sales.
• Handle stock administration, including mark-downs and lay-bys.
• Protect company assets, including stock, cash, and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store organization.

Requirements

• A Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Previous experience in a sales environment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan daily tasks effectively.
• A high level of integrity and the initiative to solve problems.
• The ability to handle stress in a fast-paced retail environment.
