Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will manage daily dispensary administration and ensure all tasks are completed according to the company’s standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and care to all patients.
• Manage stock efficiently, including the repacking of medicine.
• Handle dispensary administration and paperwork accurately.
• Perform accurate medicine compounding.
• Offer general health and wellness advice to customers.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure merchandise is displayed correctly.
• Assist with other operational tasks as required.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
• Registered as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of Over-the-Counter (OTC) and health products.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills and a team-player attitude.
• High level of integrity and ethical working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in basic calculations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and business operating systems.
