Role Purpose

We are looking for a dedicated Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our Saxby branch. In this role, you will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and manage daily dispensary administration in line with company standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care.
• Manage stock efficiently, including administration and the repacking of medicine.
• Handle dispensary administrative tasks accurately.
• Perform accurate compounding of medications.
• Provide general health advice and product information to customers.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and professional merchandise displays.
• Support the pharmacy team with daily operational requirements.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics is essential.
• Must be registered as a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of OTC (Over the Counter) and health products.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant pharmacy laws.
• Professionalism, integrity, and ethical working practices.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and pharmacy operating systems.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
