About the Role
As a Sales Executive for Used Vehicles, you will focus on driving sales growth and customer satisfaction within our used vehicle segment. Your expertise in the automotive market, combined with a customer-centric approach, will enable you to effectively engage potential buyers and facilitate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our used vehicles.
- Identify potential leads and opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to close sales while maximizing company profitability.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional events.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory status in our CRM system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, vehicle availability, and competitive pricing to effectively advise customers.
- Provide post-sale support to customers, addressing any concerns and facilitating vehicle delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry or a similar sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of vehicle features, specifications, and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant automotive sales certification or training.
- Knowledge of financing options and insurance processes related to vehicle sales.
- Bilingual abilities in official South African languages would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a high-volume dealership environment.
