About the Role
As a Sales Representative focused on Parts for VW Germiston, you will play a vital role in driving sales and fostering relationships with customers in the automotive parts industry. You will be responsible for presenting and selling a full range of Volkswagen parts, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert knowledge and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their parts needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Promote and sell Volkswagen parts and accessories, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, specifications, and features.
- Perform regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with service department and other team members to streamline parts distribution.
- Process sales orders, quotations, and provide accurate delivery timelines.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensure proper stock control.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the sales system.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales within the automotive parts industry or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and their applications, particularly Volkswagen.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Computer literate with experience in sales management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in business, automotive technology, or a related field is an advantage.
- Experience in customer service or retail sales within the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of the Volkswagen brand and its products.
