We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Auditor to join our team and support our oversight functions.

Job Requirements

• Education: A 3-year degree in Auditing, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certifications: Professional designation such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA SA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Registration: Must be registered with a recognized professional audit body or institute.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in support and governance committees, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with audit software (such as BarnOwl) is highly preferred.
• Additional Assets: Experience working with Audit Committees or handling Unauthorised, Irregular, Fruitless, and Wasteful (UIFW) expenditure processes is a distinct advantage.
• License: A valid driver’s license is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to oversight committees.
• Lead and manage audit projects according to established professional standards.
• Supervise and mentor auditors, assistants, and audit trainees.
• Ensure all internal audit activities comply with relevant laws, policies, and international standards (IPPF).
• Report audit findings and outcomes clearly to management and stakeholders.
• Apply expert knowledge of governance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Assess fraud risks and evaluate how the organization manages these risks.
