Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A relevant degree in Project Management or Engineering.
• Professional registration as a PrCMP, or a certification with PMP or IPMA (preferred).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience at a senior level.
• Advanced project management skills in line with national guidelines.
• A valid Code B driver’s license.
• Proficiency in MS Office (specifically MS Project) and experience using SAP.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will focus on the following areas:

• Coastal Project Management: Oversee the development and implementation of coastal projects to protect and maintain our coastal areas.
• Monitoring and Budgeting: Track project progress, analyze results, and manage resources to ensure all projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the project environment. You will ensure that all projects comply with the City’s corporate risk management structures to maintain safety and efficiency.
