Role Overview

The OR Tambo District Municipality is seeking a qualified Skills Development Facilitator to join the Community Learning and Skills Training division. This role reports directly to the Manager of Organisational Development, Learning, and Skills Training.

Compensation

• Annual Basic Salary: R 478,345.39 – R 620,914.19
• Benefits: Standard municipal benefits apply (excluded from basic salary).

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience within a local government Skills Development environment.
• License: A valid Code B Driving License.
• Skills: A certificate in computer literacy is required.
• Professional Standing: Registration with a relevant professional body is considered an added advantage.

Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance outcomes for personnel within the sub-section.
• Managing and controlling the section’s finances and assets.
• Overseeing administrative tasks and reporting requirements related to the section’s functions.
• Coordinating stakeholder management and internal/external communication processes.
