We are known for excellence and our inviting shopping environment. We are currently looking for a dedicated Store Assistant to join our team at the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg.

Your Role

As a Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your focus will be on delivering premium service, supporting sales, and ensuring the store remains organized through careful stock and cash management.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Provide a luxury shopping experience by offering expert product knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with customers through personalized service.
• Maintain the brand’s high standards through professionalism and enthusiasm.

Cash Control & Accuracy

• Handle cash desk duties efficiently with high attention to detail.
• Follow daily cash control and banking procedures accurately.
• Process manual transactions correctly when necessary.

Stock Management & Organization

• Manage daily stock procedures to keep the store running smoothly.
• Organize the storeroom and perform weekly stock counts.
• Ensure all products are correctly paired and maintained to uphold brand integrity.
• Help manage and fulfill customer orders on time.

Requirements

• Education: Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of retail experience (experience in luxury or fashion retail is a plus).
• Passion: A genuine interest in high-end fashion and footwear.
• Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak trading hours.

• Strong numerical skills and accuracy when handling money.
• A detail-oriented mindset to maintain high brand standards.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A friendly, collaborative attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
