About the Role:
The Limpopo Department of Social Development is looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the Seshego Treatment Centre. Our mission is to transform society by building conscious and capable citizens through integrated social development services. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care and support our clinical team in delivering high-quality health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out basic care plans for patients.
• Provide clinical nursing care within the professional scope of practice for enrolled nurses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update client registers.
• Write professional reports and ensure all documentation is filed correctly.
• Use resources effectively and maintain high ethical standards.
• Focus on continuous professional growth and self-development.

Requirements

• A qualification that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Current, valid registration with SANC.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic nursing skills and a strong focus on patient care.
• Computer literacy and professional report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of the legal framework governing the public service and the nursing profession.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
