Job Title: Clerk (Finance)

Job Summary
This role provides comprehensive finance and administrative support to the Shared Services department. Key responsibilities include managing stock control, processing client invoicing, reconciling accounts, handling payment processing, assisting with budget requirements, and resolving client queries to ensure accurate financial records and efficient operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks to support daily department operations.
- Manage and maintain accurate stock control records, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct daily client invoicing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal procedures.
- Capture and maintain payment data accurately on financial systems.
- Issue orders according to approved processes and operational needs.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure precise financial reporting and record-keeping.
- Assist with budget requirements by providing supporting information and documentation.
- Resolve client queries professionally and efficiently, ensuring timely feedback and service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Matric / Grade 12 with Accounting and Mathematics as subjects.
- BCom or relevant finance qualification (completed or in progress) (advantageous).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance-related position.
- Computer literate with advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with strong organizing, planning, and detail-oriented capabilities.
