About the Role

As an Adviser – Own Asset Insurance, you will be pivotal in managing, promoting, and advising on insurance products specifically for the organization's own assets. Your core responsibilities include ensuring all company-owned assets are adequately insured, identifying and mitigating risks, and aligning insurance coverage with business, regulatory, and financial objectives. You will serve as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and insurers/brokers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
• Schedule and conduct meetings to discuss current and future insurance needs.
• Assess client requirements and research suitable insurance policies and products.
• Arrange life insurance cover for clients through the insurer.
• Ensure all client servicing adheres strictly to FAIS requirements.
• Represent VKB Brokers professionally at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Relevant short-term insurance qualifications (advantageous).
• At least 5 years of proven work experience in a similar environment.
• FAIS compliance.
• Knowledge of the financial services or health insurance sector.
• Sound understanding of the agricultural sector (advantageous).
• Computer literacy.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
