We are looking for a Wellness Assistant to join our team in Ravenswood.

Role Overview

The Wellness Assistant's primary goal is to provide exceptional customer service. You will offer expert advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements to help customers make informed choices, drive sales, and build long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive customer service by identifying and meeting customer needs regarding health and supplements.
• Consult with customers to provide suitable advice on healthcare and nutritional products.
• Meet sales targets by cross-selling and upselling a wide range of brands.
• Manage stock availability by following inventory management procedures.
• Maintain high standards of store hygiene and cleanliness to create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Ensure correct product merchandising according to company guidelines.
• Minimize stock loss and wastage by following risk management and stock rotation policies.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and share information with team members.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Essential: Matric certificate.
• Essential: At least 1 year of related experience in retail or sales.
• Desirable: A qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition.
• Desirable: Previous experience working with vitamins and sports nutrition products.

Knowledge and Skills

• Understanding of retail store operations (merchandising, stock management, and risk management).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for sales.
• Basic computer literacy.
